Bean Bag Toss

Matt took these pictures at pre-school.
The kids were lined up on the playground playing bean bag toss.

Luke Loves Bubbles

I don't think there is a three-year-old boy who enjoys bubbles more than Luke.
We spend a few hours a week blowing bubbles in the back yard.

He thought I was pretty funny this day.

Rainbow Child

Luke and I were at a Portland Parks event, and he surprised me by insisting that he wanted to get his face painted. He'd expressed interest in getting it done before, but would always get too shy to go through with it. This time he really meant it.

He was pretty proud of himself.

Berry Picking

Matt took Luke berry picking on Sauvie Island a couple of weeks ago.

Luke loves blueberries. And he ate one for every one he picked.

After a hard afternoon in the fields, Luke relaxed on the tire swing.

Home Sweet Home

We are really enjoying our backyard this Summer.
We created this graveled play area for Luke's sandbox.

Luke on his tricycle. He's going to be due for a pedal bike soon.

And last weekend we went to Hood River for the Thomas the Train event.
Here we are riding "Thomas."

Michigan

Two weeks ago we were all in Michigan for cousin Fran's graduation party.
Luke loved going on Grandpa Presley's boat and he had no problem jumping in the lake to help tether the boat.

Luke and Momma on the dock by Aunt Ronny's house.

Moody boy with moody looks

The water park at Kensington Metro Park was a big hit.
Luke is definitely a water baby.

Playing blocks at Aunt Ronny's house. We literally spent hours doing this.

Luke caught a fish!

Luke went fishing and caught a catfish.
What an outdoorsman! His appreciation for nature is evident on his face.

Well, I wouldn't want this thing near me, either.

Yay, Luke!

Cousins!

Luke got to spend some time with his cousins from Chicago, Annie and John!
He and Annie are really good friends.

She looks out for him and enjoys playing with him.

They also celebrated John's birthday. Look at that Spidey-Man cake!

Luke was wiped out from so much partying.
